Don't let Your Request Go Unanswered

I am not sure how many of you actually read this but I thought this was interesting about how many e-schedulings go unanswered.  On the GRAR FB site I asked if there was any way to tell if they got caught up in spam? But they said no - I can not imagine a Realtor not responding to a showing request - so this makes me wonder - but here is a snip it from the mailing this week:

Did you know that 11,730 REQUESTS FOR SHOWINGS were sent to GRAR members over the last 65 days via the eSchedule a Showing program? Of those requests, 6,942 showings occurred and feedback was shared with the listing agent/broker in 5,242 of those instances.

This is just a small supply list for volunteers working with Habitat for Humanity around the world, country, state, and city. There are always volunteers working to better a street, neighborhood, and sometimes a whole city. 2011 Rebound: Affordability High, Investors Back
Plenty of signs point to the housing market finally bottoming out and moving into rebound mode this year, experts say in a recent article in The Wall Street Journal.

Investors, who were burned when the housing bubble burst in 2006, are back on the market, betting on a rebound, and snagging up houses and condos in all-cash deals.

What’s more, housing is at the most affordable it has been in decades nationwide — when home prices and average incomes are taken into account, according to analysts at Moody's Analytics. WZZM NEWS Coverage | Eastown Community Project with the Red Cross

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM)- There's a new project going on in Eastown called "Heart work is Hard work."

The American Red Cross and Griffin Properties have joined forces to improve the look of the neighborhood and get important information out to residents.

Volunteers are going door-to-door starting Saturday at 9:00 a.m. They will be hanging blooming flower baskets from each tree in front of homes.

"Heartwork is Hardwork" hopes to offer other ways for community members to volunteer in neighborhoods they may not necessarily be familiar with.
